- A study interested in Young People’s views on predicative testing for Alzheimer’s Disease.
This study is recruiting young people aged 16-26 year olds, with a grandparent with Alzheimer’s disease. The study is examining your understanding of the condition and new techniques that may one day help diagnose and predict development of the condition. The study will involve an 1 1/2 hour interview .If you are 16-26 year olds and have a grandparent with Alzheimer’s disease, please email email@example.com for more information.
- A study interested in ethics and autism.
This study is exploring how young people understand autism and its causes, and how they think we should use genetic information about autism in medical research and in the clinics. No previous knowledge of autism is required, as we will do fun and interactive activities to learn about autism.The study will involve a small-group discussion (about 2 1/2 hours, including breaks).We are looking for 13-18 year-old young people living in Oxford or Oxfordshire (e.g. Didcot, Abingdon, Kidlington, Witney, Banbury etc.).
